SWS has built an intelligent thin panel center to drive intelligent decision making with data and achieve an intelligent upgrade and transformation of discrete cruise ship manufacturing. The adoption of a large amount of advanced intelligent equipment and unique core technology has ensured the stability in production capacity of thin panel segmentation of cruise ships. The application of information-based intelligent technology in thin panel workshops has greatly shortened the segmented manufacturing of thin panels of a cruise ship. The first large-scale cruise ship made in China has entered the fitting-out phase, and the production of the second ship has also started. The quality of segmented manufacturing of thin panels has seen a significant improvement, with all quality and accuracy parameters satisfying the company’s examination indicators. 5G applications, equipment IoT and management control, data driving technology and intelligent logistics innovatively developed by this program are all practical and expandable for application in China’s ship industry.
