To cater for consumers’ growing demands over wearable intelligent devices, ABB launched its smallestever industrial robot IRB 1010. Its compact size enables high-density production layout and automation upgradeand capacity improvement of application scenarios. Its payload reaches 1.5kg. Using air hoses to enhancevacuum suction, it can handle multiple parts simultaneously. It is equipped with the ABB OmniCore™ E10controller for higher control precision. The 6-axis brake system is able to maintain its original position when shut off, with no need for reset, thereby improving efficiency and ensuring continuity in production. The Robot Control Mate installed makes IRB 1010 easier to program with, allowing movement, teaching and calibration on computer or tablet. This robot is applicable to both industry and education sectors.
