The GenX320 Metavision® sensor developed by PROPHESEE features ultra-low power consumption at the microwatt level, microsecond-level time resolution, and a certain degree of high dynamic range. It effectively addresses the power, speed, and robustness demands of edge vision devices, delivering reliable performance even in low-light or extreme lighting conditions. This sensor has been widely adopted in a variety of machine vision systems. Its key characteristics include an ultra-compact size, making it ideal for system designs in the most constrained spaces, and ultra-low power consumption, which supports "Always On" functionality. With operating power in the microwatt range, it is ideal for Internet of Things (IoT) and edge device applications. It is conveniently applicable in fields such as consumer electronics, AR/VR/XR, security monitoring, IoT, healthcare (privacy protection) cameras, edge AI algorithms and machine learning, wearable devices, and smart homes. The inherent frame-less event data characteristics ensure user privacy by preventing the recording of static scenes, making it ideal for privacy-sensitive scenarios.
